**Well regarded architectural practice in North Sydney. New South Wales, requires an experienced Graduate of Architecture with a minimum 4 years + local experience on a full-time basis.**

SBA Architects is a leading multidisciplinary design practice delivering innovative and forward-thinking solutions for the industrial sector. Our team is committed to achieving exceptional design results for longstanding clients. Due to current project demands and business growth, we are urgently seeking a professional and driven Graduate of Architecture to join our collaborative team.

The role of the Graduate is to develop architectural skills and responsibilities under the direction of the Project Architect. As a key member of the SBA team, you will be working on large scale industrial projects assisting with the successful delivery of projects from concept design to completion.

Proven experience in large scale project delivery across in the industrial sector

 Expertise with REVIT software, along with a strong understanding of State and Local Planning Controls, the NCC and Australian Standards is essential

 Experience in cold storage and temperature-controlled warehousing projects desirable

 A passion and interest in industrial architecture and the changing industrial landscape

Skills and Experience:
 Master of Architecture from a recognised institution

 Local experience in the profession with industrial experience preferred

 Experience on complex architectural projects

 Must have advanced Revit skills

 Have imaginative and creative thinking skills

 Ability to communicate effectively and have time management skills

 Willingness to work as part of a team & work reasonable additional hours as project demands

 Ability to analyse and critically assess problems

 Understand cultural and environmental concerns and the impact of architecture on the built environment

Key Responsibilities:
 Assist with the development of concept and schematic design

 Develop accurate and detailed technical drawings & maintain high BIM standards as defined by the practice

 Analyse the National Construction Code, authorities’ requirements & by-laws, development consents, relevant Australian Standards & all other technical documents & reports to determine their impact on the design

 Co-ordinating project requirements with consultants and other stakeholders

 Prepare building specifications under the Project Architects instructions

 Visit site, compile measurements, prepare interior arrangements and check appropriateness and dimensions of materials to be used.

 Maintain Quality System requirements as defined in the Project Quality Plan.

The salary package offered is 75-90K depending on experience.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
