Hours: Full Time

**Salary**: AUD $60000 to AUD $64000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Bowral, NSW 2576

About us Andrew Deaville Pty Ltd (trading as Southern Highlands Carpet Court) is a Family owned and operated flooring business in the heart of beautiful Bowral, NSW. We are looking to expand our team and in need of a Floor Finisher to work with us on a fulltime permanent basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Surface preparation - floor grinding, pressure cleaning, floor levelling, remedial floor repairs.
- Installation of carpets, vinyl’s, commercial vinyl’s, vinyl planks and hybrids.
- Repairing carpet and vinyl covers.
- Measuring the areas to be prepared and covered. Advise clients on the suitable materials to be used.
- Provided estimation of costs according to the plans and materials.
- Cutting and preparing the materials for installation according to plans.
- Cleaning the work site after completion of floor coverings.
- On-site overseeing of projects.
- Supervising and training Apprentices
- Maintaining documentation regarding completed jobs.

Skills and Attributes:

- Minimum of 2 year of experience
- Experience and proven competence as a Floor Finisher / Coverer / Layer for the installation of floor coverings such as carpets, vinyl’s, commercial vinyl’s, vinyl planks and hybrids.
- Physical fit and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A high sense of personal responsibility when on-site.
- Show good health and safety practices and the ability to work safely
- Be team orientated and have a strong work ethic.
- The ability to support and train members of the team when required.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Cert III in Flooring Technology / Floorcovering / Floor Finishing and Covering is highly regarded however not essential.
