We are seeking a Placement Coordinator to join our dynamic Health, Science and Community department within Vocational Education and Training (VET) to support our Early Childhood and Education teaching areas.

The Placement Coordinator - Early Childhood and Education is responsible for providing expert administrative support to the Early Childhood and Education teaching areas in relation to all aspects of student placements. This includes placing students in facilities, responding to placement related queries, liaising with the relevant departmental and placement administrative staff and external facilitators regarding documentation and the recording and filing of student placement details. A key part of this role involves fostering strong working relationships with placement facilities and industry partners.

We are looking for an individual who is well-organised, collaborative, and has excellent time management and communication skills.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role including coordination of a range of functions and provision of advice and interpretation of policy and procedures in a vocational or tertiary education institution.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with people at all levels both internal and external to the University with tact, maturity and appreciation of sensitive issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and flexibly within a team environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, along with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

**Qualifications**
- A degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience in similar administrative fields; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
