**Position**: Pathology Specimen Collectors (**_Please note that this is NOT a Courier Driver position)_**

**Location**: St Vincent’s & St Andrew’s Hospitals, Toowoomba, QLD.

**Employment Type**: Full-Time (Monday to Friday).

**Shift Hours**: Various shifts available, including 5:00 AM-2:30 PM, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, and 3:00 PM-11:00 PM. This role includes participation in a weekend roster and on-call duties.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients in a safe and professional manner.
- Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors and /or a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection
- The confidence to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centres
- Efficient time management and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their role
- A First Aid Certificate
