Set amongst picturesque gardens and a host of convenient amenities, the Warabrook Centre is located in the suburb of Warabrook in Newcastle.

As a well-established centre that supports 153 residents, Warabrook’s trained staff provide kind, friendly and personalised services including respite, palliative and dementia care.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Residential Manager, Warabrook Centre is seeking experienced Café Assistant with barista experience to join their team on a permanent part-time basis.

If you’re reliable, motivated and passionate about caring for older people, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties may include**:

- Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ensuring the delivery of high quality nutritious meals to our residents.
- Reporting, documentation and collection of stores from main kitchen.

**About you**

The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people. You will need previous experience in kitchen/cafe and cleaning along with understanding of work health and safety practices.

Please note: Anyone visiting a residential home is now required to have an up-to-date Covid19 vaccination.
