**The successful applicant will**:

- deliver engaging, hands-on STEM lessons for our students
- foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- collaborate with colleagues to promote a strong STEM culture across the school
- contribute to events, projects, and initiatives that enhance students' STEM learning
- have an understanding and commitment to MACS Vision for Instruction
- have an understanding and commitment to the Science of Learning
- be open to the implementation of the Direct Explicit Instruction pedagogy
- be able to work in a supportive team and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships
- be committed to ongoing professional learning

**To be considered for this position you must**:

- have an understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and be committed to its mission;
- be committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care;
- have current and appropriate registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- have accreditation to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools or be willing to undertake such accreditation
- have a strong understanding of contemporary educational trends in STEM teaching and learning.
