Job Description

**Your opportunity to join our team**

We are currently seeking a **Security Officer / Gatehouse Attendant** to join our team in Osborne Park. In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact for anyone entering or exiting our site, helping us maintain a secure and well-managed operation. **Shifts & Roster**

This role operates on a **rotating 4-week roster** consisting of:

- **7 Morning Shifts**: 3:15 AM - 11:15 AM
- **7 Afternoon Shifts**: 11:15 AM - 7:15 PM
- **7 Night Shifts**: 7:15 PM - 3:15 AM
- **2 days off** between each shift rotation

**Penalty rates apply**:

- **Saturday**: 50% loading
- **Sunday**: 75% loading
- **Afternoon & Night Shifts**: 15% loading on base rate

**Daily Tasks**
- Performing **Gatehouse duties**, including greeting and managing entry for staff, visitors, and contractors
- Operating the **weighbridge system** to monitor vehicle movement and weight
- Managing **site access control** and ensuring compliance with visitor and contractor protocols
- Carrying out **office administration tasks**, including recording staff absentees
- **Responding to alarms** and assisting with emergency protocols as required
- Overseeing **vehicle access** at multiple site entry points
- Monitoring and updating **turnstile and access records**
- Conducting routine **site patrols** to ensure safety and security

Desired Skills and Experience

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- Previous experience in a **security, gatehouse or site access control** role (preferred)
- Current **Security Officer licence** and any other relevant clearances (e.g. First Aid - desirable)
- Ability to work across **all three shift types** in a rotating roster
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer skills for data entry and site access records
- A strong sense of responsibility, integrity and reliability
