1300apprentice is looking for a highly motivated and committed **1st year Shop Fitting apprentice **to join a highly skilled, professional team in based **in Girraween.**

Our partner maintains an enviable reputation for delivering exceptionally designed and executed bespoke fit outs in collaboration with architects and designers spanning the hospitality, commercial and retail sectors. They specialise in creating environments and that possess originality, beauty, and functionality, and above all are dedicated to lasting craftsmanship.

**You will be learning your craft from true professionals, who are willing to pass on their knowledge to see you succeed.**

**Some of what you will learn**:

- Make measurements and calculations
- Use of hand and power tools
- Read and interpret plans and drawings.
- Fabricate custom cabinetry, display units and more.
- Prepare cutting list from plans and job specifications.
- Set up, operate and maintain computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining and processing centres
- To manufacture and install, 50% of time in the workshop, 50% on-site (estimated)

**To be successful**:

- Must have be up to date TAFE and provide a current transcript
- Physically fit and not afraid of physically demanding work
- Well presented.
- **Committed to a 4-year Shop Fitting Apprenticeship**:

- Dedicated, reliable and hungry to learn.
- White Card or willing to obtain one
- Driver Licence and own transport
- **Above all passionate about becoming a highly skilled, professional tradesperson**
