About the Role:
We are looking for a Head of Sales Regulatory Compliance to lead our sales team and to provide overall strategic leadership and functional management of all sales activities for the Regulatory Compliance solution in the Pacific and Asia region.
The position is required to facilitate both a ‘customer-centric’ strategic and operational focus on current and prospective market segments. In this role you will play a crucial role in leading the sales teams in sales and strategy development to drive revenue, ensure profitability and operational excellence. This position works closely with the Vice President to identify new revenue opportunities and develop strategic and tactical plans.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Accountable for Pacific and Asia Regulatory Compliance target.- Creating a commercial strategy that develops and expands our existing revenue streams, whilst stimulating revenue growth from specialist products and solutions and penetrating into new and adjacent markets.- Preparing a robust operating plan so that budgets and forecasts are consistently achieved.- Taking overall responsibility and ownership for the achievement of sales and other performance targets across the team.- Accountable for pipeline management and opportunity workshops.- Drive sales coaching (train the trainer) and customer discovery and objection handling.- Introducing suitable account planning methods and performance metrics to ensure growth opportunities are identified, quantified and are realistic.- Leading the sales function within the team to drive continuous improvement across the operational arm of the sales organisation.- Act as advocate and champion for LexisNexis policies and sales governance processes across the sales team.- Working effectively with product development teams and marketing to identify and size opportunities for new market entrants, acquisition and profitable brand/product extension.- Represent LexisNexis at industry events and company events.- Leading whole-of-business and industry group discussions/negotiations to win significant new business.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally with an undergraduate degree in business, law or related field.- 5-10 year’s senior management experience preferably gained in an information or software solutions environment involving strong solutions sales and marketing.- Demonstrated decisive leadership skills, setting clear direction and encouraging a committed team to excel.- Well-developed coaching & mentoring techniques and experience.- Leadership involving transformational/cultural change and business process reengineering.- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.- A strong sales background, with a practical approach to problem solving, and analysing areas for improvement.- Demonstrated success in holistic customer retention strategy, growth, and customer touch points.- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
