We are a well regarded orthodontic practice within our community that literally transforms smiles. You would have a key role in creating first impressions for our customers. You have an energetic and outgoing personality, enjoy working with people, and have a positive body language. You should be able to maintain composure during busy times, yet have a proven ability to work well within a team.

Position is for 2.5 days a week: Tuesdays: 7:45am-5:30pm and Wednesdays: 8:45am-6pm, Fridays: 12pm-5:45pm. There is a probability the practice will open on Saturdays in the near future and your availability to work on Saturdays if needed (probable hours 7:30am-2pm) is a requirement for successful hiring.

Previous Dental or Orthodontic Experience preferred but not essential.

If no experience, we are looking for team members with an ability to learn quickly and to connect with people/ team members. Previous customer service experience and working with teams an advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help the clinical and administrative team with scheduling and optimizing appointments so our customers finish within their promised treatment times. You should also have a pleasant appearance and tone as a point of first impressions visually and over the phone.
- Other duties include ensuring accounts receivables are kept low through receiving and processing payments and general administrative and simple marketing tasks.
- Helping the Orthodontist, oral health therapist and orthodontic assistant with orthodontic procedures ie: braces/ aligner adjustments towards their new smiles, customer communication, laboratory communication, data entry, and sterilization of instruments.
- Marketing and social media tasks. Training will be provided.

**Desirable Attitude & Skills**: Good listening and verbal skills. Average typing skills. Communicate with empathy. Work well within a team. Good attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. Previous ability working on schedule during busy times an advantage.

Under current NSW Government Regulations, successful applicants would need to be fully COVID vaccinated.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 26 per week

**Salary**: $22.70 - $32.00 per hour
