About the Role
As the Head of Department - Health and Physical Education, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:

- Lead the school department in developing and committing to a shared educational vision focussed on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Promote socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies and community groups.
- Be future-oriented and strategic.
- Understand the policies and legislation affecting schooling, especially students and staff.
- Manage department resources to achieve goals.
