Great Australian manufacturer and a leading business in their industry, are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic people to join their sheet metal prep team based at their Blacktown Manufacturing facility.

If you have one or more years’ experience in metal fabrication and are interested in training to become a multiskilled operator this is the ideal role for you.

The role will be casual 38 hours per week initially, with overtime available and permanent conversion for the right person.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate the press brake safely.
- Prepare, set up and adjust press brake as required by product drawings and schedule.
- Measure and align material to be used.
- Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Ability to follow instructions.

- Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate CNC press brake.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow engineering drawing.
- Great attitude and willingness to learn.
- Minimum 1 year in a similar role.
- Works safely.
- Is technologically literate.
- Has their own reliable transport.
- Able to work in team environment.
- Physically able to operate the press brake.
- Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting and manually handling sheet metal.
- Successfully complete functional assessment and D&A screen as part of the pre -employment process.

- Monday - Friday
- Morning shift team & Afternoon shift team
- Fulltime hours + overtime penalties (for those interested)
- Temp to perm opportunity.
