**The Role**

The purpose of the Role is to oversee and lead our Long Term Living services and Short Term Accommodation services. In this full time position, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our committed support staff to provide personalised support that aligns perfectly with the preferences and needs of our participants. You'll do all this while adhering to the National Quality Standards and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) guidelines. Your responsibilities will cover day to day operations, including mentoring and empowering our support staff and actively pursuing future business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing our NDIS Short term Accommodation bookings and all inbound enquiries when required. You will be provided with the resources required to kickstart the role with comprehensive training and ongoing support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Offering guidance and mentorship to support staff in their operational and support roles.
- Demonstrating inclusive leadership that celebrates cultural diversity.
- Developing and efficiently managing staff rosters.
- Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of support workers.
- Addressing and overseeing support staff performance.
- Managing the medical and health support needs of our participants.
- Efficiently managing participant budgets.
- Maintaining accurate documentation for participants.
- Engaging with stakeholders and nurturing positive relationships with participants, their families, and the broader NDIS community.
- Ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety practices and providing training as needed.
- Collaborating on the implementation of innovative business development plans alongside the Team Lead.
- Actively engaging in networking events and attending business development meetings and stakeholder gatherings to foster valuable connections.
- Assuring that new business opportunities are being promoted and secured in accordance with the organisation's strategic plan.
- End to end management of NDIS Short term and long term accommodation bookings.
- Ensuring efficient, safe and high quality of client support and services.
- Build and maintain a viable and stable customer base.
- Assessing client needs, recommending and explaining the relevant NDIS services offered by The Australian Health Company (AHC).
- Manage all client and stakeholder calls and enquiries that come through in a timely manner with a sense of urgency.
- Liaise with our stakeholders with the utmost of professionalism.
- Manage all services and bookings from start to finish.

**Skills and Experience**:

- A deep comprehension of disability services, coupled with a resolute commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
- An established history of effectively overseeing SIL accommodation services, encompassing supervision, coaching, mentoring, and support staff training.
- Demonstrated leadership prowess.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal talents.
- Proficiency in establishing, nurturing, and maintaining robust stakeholder relationships, complemented by adept negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Experience with Nightingale software is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
