**The Role**:
Coregas has a permanent full-time opportunity for an Electrical/Instrumentation Trades Person to join our team based in Port Kembla. This role has the ownership, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of safe, cost-effective, and quality Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance on all equipment/infrastructure supporting the Port Kembla production site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all planned maintenance activities are completed safely & in full compliance with the site’s Safe Work Procedures.
- Ensure all maintenance records and documentation are maintained in the sites CMMS(MEX), online data bases, and written libraries.
- Ownership, operation, and maintenance of all the sites spare parts stores and critical spare parts
- Ensure all breakdown, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities are planned and executed correctly, on time, and in a professional manner
- Support ongoing review and improvement of maintenance activities - in terms of safety, quality, and cost. This shall include delivery against agreed annual improvement objectives

**About you**:

- TAFE trades certification - Electrical Trade Certificate, Cert IV in Instrumentation.
- HV switching and motor experience.
- Experience with different Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Experience in installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
- Working with Oxy experience
- Sound understanding of Safe Work Practices
- Must have extensive Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance experience in an automated industrial enviornment.
- Must be proficient in using computer office programs, such as Microsoft suite.
- Must have the ability to be an effective communicator and be calm under pressure.
- Must hold a full NSW Electricians Licence.
- Must have Breakdown, fault finding and repair experience.
- Desirable - Forklift licence, Working at Heights & Boom lift License and Confined spaces.
- 24/7 operation with an on-call roster, call outs and some overtime.
