Piano and Violin Teacher

Music Makers Academy is a music school based in Joondalup that inspires students to find fulfilment through high-quality music education and a commitment to excellence.

We are now seeking a tutor, ideally someone who can teach both piano and violin from beginner-grade 5 levels, to work on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

**Responsibilities**
- providing lessons 1:1 with a student
- marking attendance via our online portal
- helping organise and attend our concerts and events

**Qualifications**
- Grade 8 minimum on piano
- 3 years minimum of tutoring experience
- Current tertiary music student OR recent graduate

**Employment type, hours and rates**

The hours currently are:
Tuesdays 3.20pm-5.40pm

Thursdays 4.10-6.30pm

The rate will depend on your experience and qualifications. We pay 1st year university music students $42/hour. We pay superannuation as well as your time for trainings and events.

All new employees will be required to complete an online training (lump sum payment provided upon completion). Further training may be required.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $42.00 - $57.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 4 per week
