**Retail Associate (Christmas Casual - Seasonal Position)**

**Job Overview**

This is an amazing opportunity to work in a small but bustling supplements store that's recently relocated to our fresh new location at Sumner

This role is multi-faceted, requiring various customer service skills, operational responsibilities, good nutritional knowledge, and passion for the sports and fitness industry.

This position is **ideal for students in the health industry** and looking to pick up extra work over the christmas break - Approximately 10-15 hours p/week but may increase depending on business needs.

Your core tasks involve looking after customers (both in-store and online), providing excellent service, and educating them on knowledgeable and sound health advice. You will process in-store sales and online orders, help maintain the store, and assist the operations manager and team collectively with promotional campaigns, creative merchandising, and follow any relevant policies and procedures where needed.

**Suitability**

This position is perfect for someone who has a passion for health, wellness, and fitness and is looking for approximately 15-20 hours a week.

**Responsibilities**
- Providing amazing customer service and knowledgeable health advice.
- Processing customer sales through our Point of Sale system.
- Picking, packing, and processing online orders from our E-commerce Shopify system.
- Creative merchandising and assisting with promotional campaigns.
- Store maintenance, cleaning, and store presentation upkeep.
- Following store policies and procedures including store open, store close and other relevant key areas of business operation.
- Preparing and pricing goods received for sale, including unpacking deliveries that arrive.
- Filling shelves and ensuring displays are well presented at all times.
- Ensuring the security of the store including the premises, goods, and security of cash.
- Deep dive collaborations with the team on a scheduled basis to ensure the growth of our affiliated brands.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience within the health, sports, and retail industry.
- Studying in the field of health, nutrition sports, or relevant industry.
- Being proactive and having a strong ability to work autonomously.
- Work well with others, collaborate, and be open to ideas and constructive criticism.
- Fast learner and tech-savvy when it comes to technology, devices, and social media.
- Has a growth mindset and is open to taking on new challenges.
- Excellent communicator and customer service skills.
- A can-do and results-driven attitude.

The store is located at Sumner at Supplements Central, directly next to the Ampol fuel station - The purple building.

Position Start Date - Mid-to-late November.
