**Job Description**:
The purpose of the role is to lead the Personal Injury Division’s strategic engagement with state/territory governments, regulators and stakeholders ensuring to enhance and maintain the division reputation as an expert in recovery, personal injury schemes and innovation that drives better customer outcomes. The role will lead the Divisions Public Policy development and promote our purpose and strategy through internal and external communication.
- Provide strategic Corporate Affairs insight and advice, from both and internal and external stakeholders.
- Establishing deep relationships with regulators, customers and industry stakeholders to positively influence public policy decisions and promote customer and strategic interests.
- Provides insight and advice into market changes and opportunities to drive growth.
- Build an inspiring vision for the Personal Injury Division to rally behind, that puts the interests of customers at the center of the Personal Injury Division’s mission.
- Lead and develop the capability of others through effective coaching, mentoring, professional development and performance management.
- Supporting tender submissions as required.
- Tracks legislative dynamics, performance metrics of schemes, learns and quickly adjusts to change and communicates impacts.
- Seeks multiple ways to connect people to our purpose, holds team accountable for high performance against agreed targets.
- Advise and support the Division’s leaders on Industry engagement and Public Policy matters - establishing credibility and influential relationships.
- Coordinate and collaborate across MedHealth functions and jurisdictions to drive effective campaigns and messaging.
- Develop relationships across the Division to deliver outcomes for the business and its customers.
- Extensive range of senior level government, regulator, customer, industry, business, community and consumer advocate relationships.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant university degree
- 10+ years’ experience working in government, public policy and for a major corporation and/or government.
- Experience in Health, Insurance, Personal Injury or Government services in a senior capacity
