We are seeking dedicated lecturers in psychology for our Sydney Campus who are passionate about their field and teaching the next generation of psychologists.

Lecturers teach primarily into our undergraduate and honours psychology programmes, contribute to the leadership and administration of psychology units, and supervise student research projects at the honours and postgraduate level.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Teaching psychology units delivered online, on campus, blended, or a combination of these modes, and marking assessments connected to these units
- Involvement in the development and review of teaching materials for the psychology programmes
- Unit coordination duties (and course coordination duties when required)
- Supervising honours and/or postgraduate research projects
- Conducting scholarly and/or disciplinary research
- Participate in formal professional development activities to improve your teaching practice

**You will possess the following essential qualifications, skills and experience**:

- A PhD in psychology
- Experience teaching in higher education or equivalent. Ideally you will have experience. with mixed modes of program delivery including distance and/or online education
- Experience coordinating units (and possibly courses)
- Experience supervising honours and/or postgraduate research projects
- You have conducted research leading to publications in peer reviewed journals
- Are eligible for membership of the Australian Psychological Society
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work and build relationships with all levels of staff at the campus
- A student-focussed approach and the ability to engage students in the learning process
- Proven commitment to continuous improvement of your teaching practice

**Desirable**: Expertise in experimental psychology
