Daylesford Aged Care is a 30 bed aged care facility situated within the township of Daylesford and colocated within the Daylesford Hospital. We are an Age Friendly Health Service delivering care for older people, their families and carers with an aim to reduce harm and improve quality of life. You will work closely with a team of Nurses and Carers and the Nurse Unit Manager, providing direct and indirect care ensuring we provide Best care every time for our residents.
PCAs are integral members of our multidiscipliniary team working to achieve the highest standards of care ensuring positive outcomes that are closely aligned with what matters to each individual.
In this role you will;
- Assist residents with daily activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and mental well-being
- Complete documentation and ensure compliance with relevant processes
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans

To be successful you will need;
- Cert III in Aged Care or Individual support or equivilant
- Flexibility to work accross AM and PM shifts including weekdays and weekends
- Previous experience in an Aged Care environment
- experience in providing care for each clients individualised needs including grooming, bathing, showering, mobilty, meals, toileting, social activities.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with our residents

**Details of Appointment**: Casual
**Salary**: IN38 - Health Care Worker Grade 2 $31.65 per hour + 11.5% Superannuation.
