The business is experiencing rapid growth and as a result, we are looking for a Food Production Supervisor/Manager to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday.

The Food Production Supervisor/Manager will take the lead in planning, supervision and delivery of the overall production plan on a daily basis. In doing so, you will ensure that all production operations are delivered to the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

- Overall supervision and management of the food production team which includes Production Chefs/Cooks, Process Workers, Dishwashers and Cleaners
- Creating production plans and staff rosters on a daily basis
- Hands-on involvement on the production floor - monitoring activities and ensuring all tasks are performed to strict food safety and quality guidelines
- Ensuring all production SOPs are correctly followed
- Ensuring all food safety and quality records are correctly logged on the system
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene on the floor
- Leading and motivating the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Training and coaching team members to improve skills and performance.
- Minimising waste, downtime and maintaining high levels of productivity
- Managing equipment breakdowns from breakdown to repair
- Identifying opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements in the production workflow.

**Requirements**:

- Reliable, hard working and dedicated
- Able to start early mornings and work 9 hour shifts
- Switched on, intelligent and good with basic maths
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Manager, Team Leader or Head/Executive Chef
- Sound knowledge of bulk food production and manufacturing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- In-depth understanding of food safety, HACCP and GMP
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle pressure

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
