Base salary $120,000 + superannuation, negotiable depending on experience

How you will make an impact

As the Engineering Plant Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of infrastructure, plant, and equipment at Cabrini Health are operating in a safe, reliable and effective manner as an integral part of service delivery to Cabrini Health customers.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising maintenance staff (team up to 3 tradespersons) and contract service provider’s work through to completion- Assisting with the development, implementation and ongoing operations of the preventative maintenance programs- Ensuring work priorities are set and staff are directed effectively and efficiently to fulfil department and organisational requirements- Supervising maintenance and operation of chilled water systems, steam and hot water systems, domestic (H&C) water systems, power distribution system and emergency generators, HVAC, medical gas systems, BAS & Access control, refrigeration equipment on other related base building systems, plant & equipment- Repairing any abnormalities of plant, machinery, equipment and/or infrastructure in a timely and efficient manner to ensure patient and staff safety- Planning, scheduling and conducting plant & equipment preventative and reactive maintenance- Ensuring all hazards, incidents, injuries and near misses are reported via the Riskman electronic reporting system and appropriate investigations are carried out to completion

About you

You will also have the following:
- Mechanical/Air Conditioning or Electrical trade or Tertiary qualification- Experience in a relevant position in healthcare or similar environment- Computer literacy with Advanced skills using Word and Excel- Practical experience with steam plant, heating ventilation and air conditioning, building automation systems, power distribution and fire systems- Staff/contractor supervisory experience- Demonstrated organisational capability with the ability to effectively determine and implement work priorities- Experience using maintenance/building management systems to program, monitor progress of, and complete PM tasks, as well as to monitor and control plant and equipment- Experience producing reports to ensure KPIs are adhered to and discrepancies are investigated to improve service delivery
