Our client, TLJ Stonemason Pty Ltd, located in Craigieburn, VIC, requires full time, and experienced stonemason.

TLJ Stonemason has delivered excellent stonework using various materials including engineered stone, granite and marble for years. Our scope of work ranging from single residential homes to multiple-property projects. Some of our service includes, but are not limited to supply, manufacturing and installations of Kitchen Bench Tops, Vanity Tops, Laundry Top, Fire Place & Surrounding, BBQ Stone Tops, TV Units, Shop Fronts, Shop Counters, Restaurant Bars and Stone Splash Backs. We specialize in onsite professional services as well as retailing all type of adhesives, maintenance and care products to keep stone surfaces looking great at all times. We require a highly skilled stonemason who is able to advise, maintain and install a range of products with recent experience in working with various natural stone surfaces such as marble, limestone, granite and sandstone, as well as engineered stones.

**To be considered for this role you must have**:

- AQF certificate III or higher diploma in related field
- Two to three years of relevant experience as stonemason required.
- You must be Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident or have proper working rights in Australia.

**Your main duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Cuts and shapes stones and masonry slabs using machines and hand tools to construct and renovate stone structures.
- Cleaning and sealing of newly installed stone surfaces to floors, walls, vanities and benches.
- Re-honing and repolishing existing marble, limestone, travertine and sandstone floors, benches and surfaces.
- Providing customised maintenance and care to residential and commercial premises.
- Use of primers, standard adhesives, grout, waterproofing membranes, glues and colourants etc.
- Expertise in working with various compounds and an understanding of their specific requirements for care.
- Specific knowledge of the tools required and their safe operation

**Other Requirements**:

- Ideally you will have specialized knowledge of alkaline, acidic and solvent based products and how they interact with different minerals.
- Some knowledge of popular brands such as Lithofin, Tenax, Diarex, Konig, 3M, Ardell, Mapei,Rubbermaid and others would be advantageous
- Good communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
- The ability to work under pressure in a team environment

**WHAT YOU WOULD GET**
- A permanent, full time position with an annual salary plus 10.5% superannuation.
- To be considered for this position you must have excellent organisational and multitasking skills.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
