We are seeking an experienced **Care Worker** to join the team at **Yanchep** located in **Perth’s Northern Suburbs.**

Bethanie Yanchep is a 160-bed modern aged care home fitted with the latest in modern conveniences and has been designed specifically to create a homely feel for our clients & staff alike. Sitting in tended gardens & close to the beach, the facility offers a range of quality accommodation and personalised care for our residents with a variety of personal needs.

We are delighted to be able to offer with our new Care Worker role:

- Permanent part time role, working morning or afternoon shifts
- Work Monday - Sunday, Minimum 13 hours guaranteed per week with potential for additional shifts if you wish.

You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensure safety and well-being is maintained and build positive professional relationships with residents and team members.

**Responsibilities**
- Assess care plans, and ensure clients' needs are met
- Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- All personal care tasks (including toileting & showering) are delivered with dignity and respect
- Ensure clients rooms and facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard

**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate III in Aged Care, **OR** _at least_ 18 months experience as a Care Worker
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team, and also independently
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
- Experience using ICare or similar computer package highly regarded
