Our client is a well respected boutique law firm and home to industry recognised and award winning IP Lawyers and Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. They boast a culture that values respect, inclusion and developing the talent of its valued staff. They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join their Patents Team.

**About this role...**
Reporting to the Patent Team Executive, you will be responsible for providing executive legal administrative support services to the team's IP solicitors, attorneys and paralegals.

Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- undertake patent, trade mark and legal support (e.g. oversight of electronic matter management tools/resources);
- filling and administrative matter management;
- provision of paralegal services (as required);
- utilise Foundation IP to track patents/liaise with Patents Office;
- oversee billing and invoicing;
- manage corporate travel;
- intranet updating and maintenance;
- basic prosecution administration; and
- preparation of reports, documents and statistics (as required).

**About you**
- demonstrated experience in supporting professionals in a fast-paced environment;
- excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making capabilities;
- strong technical skills (e.g. Office 365, IP software and portals)
- experience supporting patent professionals in pre-litigation dispute resolution and patent office procedures;
- highly developed communication skills at all levels; and
- highly organised and able to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Proficiency in Foundation IP and Actionstep advantageous but not required.
