We are a relatively new Italian restaurant on the Central Coast, La Gioia. Our mission is to transport customers straight to the streets of Tuscany, Italy, serving traditional Italian dishes with a contemporary twist and delivering a unique and unforgettable dining experience. With that being said, we are looking for a fully equipped team to join us in delivering exceptional food and quality service.
Job Responsibilities:
As a manager, your role will involve:
- Having a strong focus on customer service and building connections with guests and locals to promote repeat clientele
- Perform as a positive team member and communicate well to achieve great service
- Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages
- Maximise sales opportunities by upselling items
- Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals
- Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
- Lead the team by example, provide guidance and motivate employees
- Oversee daily operations, ensure employee productivity and monitor the efficiency of processes
- Communicate job expectations and responsibilities and handle customer inquiries/issues
Required Qualifications:
- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry
- Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
- Reliable transportation

Work Hours:
Our opening hours will be Monday-Saturday from 12pm onwards each day.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
