**Role Description**

The Floor Manager oversees the production team and ensures the assembly line has all the materials needed to meet production goals. With a focus on workmanship, job allocation and project progress tracking, the Floor Manager works together with Supervisors and reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

This is a replacement role with a great opportunity to work and learn from our current Floor Manager before he moves away at the end of this year.

Salary is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.

**Key Role Responsibilities**
- Oversee the progress of projects to meet the expected deadline (liaise with Manufacturing Manager)
- Providing clear instructions and guidance on completing assigned tasks
- Monitoring the performance and productivity of employees and reporting back to the Manufacturing Manager
- Conducting regular check-ins and team meetings to understand employee concerns
- Providing regular feedback to help employees perform their duties efficiently
- Working with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure production schedule is followed.
- Report to Manufacturing Manager of any issue arising from the production floor (drawings/specifications, machineries, people, etc.)
- Work closely with Supervisors so that all products are manufactured to MDI standards and procedures; ensuring traceability and Quality Assurance across the fabrication and assembly departments.
- Promote and maintain high quality output as per MDI standards.
- Ensure the project is 100% completed as per drawings and schematics, quality checked per stages and ITP’s are completed before the handover to logistics and/or Installers
- Contribute to the process improvement of the production floor.
- Be ready to step in as specific area supervisor as needed.
- Conduct Toolbox meetings at prescribed intervals
- Helping employees develop additional skills and knowledge through staff development programs, workshops and training sessions.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
