**Langlands Restaurant & Bar**

Langlands Restaurant & Bar is modern in nature but at the same time, rustic in character. Our kitchen provides Victorian sourced produce, married with a beverage list that will be ever changing. Langlands Restaurant's focus is fresh, colourful, sustainable and approachable.

**Restaurant Manager at Langlands**:
Based on site in the Melbourne CBD, the Restaurant Manager will build, coach and lead a team of motivated and passionate hospitality professionals who will create memorable guest experiences each service.

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Venues Manager with the smooth and efficient operation of Langland’s Restaurant & Bar.

**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- Overall accountability for the upkeep of the outlet
- Implementation of long-term and short-term outlet goals
- Assist with creating and communicating the rosters and delegation of tasks
- Assist in controlling manning and inventory levels of the Restaurant in relation to occupancy, requirements, service quality and costs
- Assist with the recruitment, training and on-boarding process
- Ensure all team members provide exceptional guest service at all times
- Liaising with all necessary departments to ensure that the productivity of the outlet is successful in its daily operations

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:

- Previous proven managerial experience in a premium restaurant or 5 star hotel
- A current Victorian RSA Certificate
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, train and motivate team members
- A true foodie, with sound Victorian product knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
