The opportunity
We are seeking a talented EHS Specialist to join the MQ-28 team to be based in Amberley, QLD.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supporting internal customers and the MLSS Program on Environmental and Health & Safety processes, issues and regulatory compliance.
- Performing inspection and audits, investigating incidents and providing advice regarding corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of incidents.
- Coordinating the development and maintenance of EHSMP's in accordance with company requirements and international Environmental and Health & Safety standards.
- Helping to establish a culture that is aligned with EHS objectives, with continuous EHS improvements.
**To be successful you will have**:
- 5 or more years' related work experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environment, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant Environmental and Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
- Energy, passion, problem solving ability with can-do attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. An NV1 Security Clearance will be required.
