SA Health presents an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.
**About the role**:
In this role you will play a crucial role in the Older Person's Mental Health Service, providing oversight of the Rapid Access Service and community team nurses, based at the Repat Health Precinct. This unique opportunity allows you to work in a supportive specialty mental health service, where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking mental health care.
As an RN3 Nurse Consultant, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing your expertise to assess, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions. Your clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and ability to build positive therapeutic relationships will be invaluable in ensuring the highest quality of care.
**About you**:
To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant nursing qualification, current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and experience in mental health nursing, preferably with a focus on older persons.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.- Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines whilst working under mínimal supervision.- Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.
