A nationally recognized client in the Electrical-Solar Industry is looking for ongoing Electrical Trade Assistants in North Ryde. Position is an ongoing Monday to Friday role with optional weekend work and overtime. **What we need from you?**
- 2nd year apprenticeship experience (minimum requirement)
- Connect solar panels and inverters and other high-voltage equipment to the building's power supply
- Experience installing and repairing electrical wiring, switches, outlets, and light fixtures
- Extensive experience assisting with rough-ins and fit-offs across either commercial or residential projects
- Assemble, install, test and maintain PV-related electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixturesInspecting electrical systems to ensure they are safe and meet electrical codes and regulations
- Operating an electrician’s hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
- Installing electrical systems in new construction projects
- Ability to work effectively in a team or solo
- Ability to carry out physical duties responsibly and effectively
- Adhering to site procedures and client management directions
- Right-Attitude to commit to location of sites (_own transport favourable though not a requirement)_
