Based in Murarrie, our client is seeking Cable Assemblers for an immediate start.
Our client is a leading specialist vendor of cables, connectors, enclosures and related services. They have been successful in supplying network termination devices etc to the telecommunications industry for 25 years. They are in a growth period and are looking for skilled people to join their Production Team.
**Role/s specifications**:
**Day shift**: Monday - Thursday: 0600 - 1430 hours and Friday: 0600 - 1200 hours
$27.46 per hour + OT
Weekend work available - flexibility will be required throughout busy periods
OT available during peak times
Driver’s license and car is preferred as public transport is limited in the area
**PPE required**: Hi vis shirt, pants or shorts and steel cap boots
Long term and secure employment opportunity available
**Duties**:
Ability to work within a variety of factory and warehousing duties within sections of the business
Assembly of electrics
Line operation
Soldering of productions
Use of hand and power tools
High attention to detail
Ability to read and follow plans, drawings and inductions
Maintaining a safe work environment at all times
Quality assurance and regular quality checks to ensure that products are manufactured to a high standard
You must have valid working rights within Australia to be considered for this role.
