CVGT has a fantastic career opportunity for an Apprentice in Cert III Civil Construction. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to expand their current skillset. All while working towards and completing their Apprenticeship.
- Full time opportunity (Three Year Apprenticeship)
- Located in **Bendigo**
- Gain a Certificate III qualification
- Earn while you learn on the job

To be the successful applicant for this position you will need to be passionate about Civil Construction, work predominately outdoors and take pride in everything you do, you will also need to be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork but also have the ability to work individually and show initiative, be prepared to learn, be prepared to work hard and go the extra mile.

The successful applicant may be exposed to tasks such as bituminous surfacing, bridge construction and maintenance, pipe laying, road construction and maintenance, road marking, tunnel construction, timber bridge construction and maintenance, civil construction general and traffic management occupations.

Duties that you will learn then perform include but not are limited to:

- Plan and organise work
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Learn to read and interpret plans
- Use power and hand tools
- Operate small plant and equipment
- Communicate in the workplace

**Requirements**:

- Drivers licence preferred - Car
- Able to work outdoors for long periods
- Working in and around Bendigo
- Must meet eligibility criteria to undertake this Apprenticeship
- Police and Working with Children Check
