**About you**:
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running in our modern warehouse, where you'll play a vital role in our fast-paced operations.

**What Your Day Will Look Like**:
You'll be constantly on the move, handling a diverse range of tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. Your day will involve picking and packing orders with precision, managing inventory movements, and ensuring our warehouse maintains its high standards of organisation. You'll work with our digital systems to process orders and maintain accurate records, making this role perfect for someone who combines physical capability with attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Order picking and packing**: Accurately identifying and retrieving items from the warehouse based on picking lists or customer orders and packing them securely for shipment.
- **Shipping and dispatch**: Preparing goods for outgoing shipments, including labelling, packaging, and coordinating with couriers or transportation companies.
- **Material handling**:Operating pallet jacks to move goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- **General warehouse maintenance**: Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free. This includes sweeping, tidying shelves, and disposing of waste properly.
- **Record-keeping**:Maintaining accurate records of received and shipped items, inventory levels, and other relevant documentation.
- **Assisting in other areas**:Being flexible and willing to help in other departments or perform additional tasks as needed during peak periods or special projects.
- **Receiving and inspecting incoming goods**:Checking shipments for accuracy and ensuring they match the corresponding documentation. Reporting any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
- **Inventory management**: organizing stock, conducting cycle counts, and assisting in periodic stock audits
- **Transferring overflow stock to the picking location**: Moving overflow stock from the designated storage area to the main picking location as needed to ensure adequate stock availability.
- **Other duties as required.**

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1-year experience in a warehouse or similar fast-paced production environment
- High Level of attention to detail.
- Digital literacy and ability to learn new software systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and procedures.
- Experience meeting daily performance targets.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Experience driving a forklift would be a bonus but not required.
