Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The primary objective of the Manufacturing Technician is to provide support for tooling, plant and equipment in the factory by completing maintenance activities and documenting manufacturing equipment calibration systems.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities for Production equipment.- Document/record all maintenance activities as required for Production equipment.- Comply with all standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5s and Health & Safety policies.- Promote a safe working environment by following Health and Safety guidelines as well as implementing & closing out actions for the continual improvement of workplace safety.- Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities to change or adapt existing maintenance- methods and/or schedules so as to be more efficient.- Provide support to other departments to ensure that new projects/equipment are delivered, installed and maintained on time and to the highest standard.- Perform other tasks as required.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required- 2 years’ experience performing maintenance activities on equipment.- Degree or relevant trade certificate (e.g. electrical, mechanical).
Preferred- Strong hands-on skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Pneumatic devices and systems- and ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings.- Experience in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment.- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility within the medical device industry.
