**We’re now seeking an experienced and innovative Workforce Scheduler for an exciting role with the City of Melville**

The role of the Workplace Scheduler is essentially** **developing the work schedules and rosters for our Customer Relations team to meet our service delivery needs. Working alongside our Customer Relations Team Leader, you will need to be proactive, innovative, with an analytical mind and an eye for problem solving

**As our Workplace Scheduler, you’ll be responsible for**
- Generating rosters using our internal rostering software, and ensuring the schedules are well planned, communicated, and balanced, considering both our service delivery needs, as well as staff availability.
- Supporting and working alongside the Customer Relations Team Leader with proactive staff planning.
- Communicate rosters and roster changes to relevant staff and managers daily and as needed.
- Proactively plan, forecast, and manage the Customer Relations Team scheduling requirements, including roster changes, leave and absence planning to ensure coverage of shifts.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Demonstrated experience in a workforce management or resource planning role, maintenance of staffing rosters and capacity planning and forecasting.
- Experience of working in high volume contact centres.
- Experience and knowledge of operational processing metrics and related technology.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel, to a highly skilled level.
- Experience in using rostering/scheduling and CRM softwares.
