Head Barista/supervisor

Greens & Grains Café is looking for a passionate full-time Head Barista / front-of-house manager to lead the team and provide exceptional customer service to our patrons.

About the Role:

- Responsible for the café’s front-of-house.
- Supervise other front-of-house team members and provide training and development to junior staff.
- Ensure consistent high-quality service and customer engagement.

Duties include daily service for the cafe, rostering staff for front-of-house, purchasing for front-of-house, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at the expected standards, and day-to-day input to the café operations.
- Previous hospitality and team management experience.
- Willing to commit and work towards a profit share bonus model.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Head Barista in a high-volume, specialty coffee environment.
- Strong knowledge of coffee equipment and brewing techniques.
- Confidence in dealing with customers.
- Experience in managing rosters and purchasing/ordering.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
