**Our service**:
headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.

**Role overview**:

- Act as the central point of communication and provide a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management headspace staff
- Provide Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing callers to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule appointments and maintain client details
- Perform general office duties including opening and distributing mail, typing correspondence (such as medical letters to members of the clinical team), scanning, filing and archiving of documents
- Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day

**Requirements**:

- Ideally a Cert III in Medical Administration, or similar qualification, together with experience working as a Medical Receptionist
- Excellent administration, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of the health /NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
- Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills
- Well-developed customer service skills and an ability to think and act calmly to deal sensitively with people in distress
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality
- Must have good availability
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
- A current unencumbered driver's license
