**About us**
Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is responsible for the operation of services, which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.
The single most important goal of Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is to create an environment that facilitates clinical recovery, supports individual recovery efforts and strives to minimise service system barriers to the recovery process.
**Caulfield Hospital - Aged & Liaison Psychiatry Program**
The Caulfield Aged & Liaison Psychiatry Service provides assessment, treatment and ongoing management for people over the age of 65 years with a mental health disorder including psychological & behavioural disturbances, for persons residing in the Inner South East catchment area.
**What you’ll be doing**
In this role, you will work within the multi-disciplinary team and will be accountable for the provision of effective Mental Health Social Work practice and evidence based therapeutic interventions to consumers, carers and the community, using individual and group therapies.You are also expected to work flexible hours and to be rostered to work some weekends to support a 7-day a week service for consumers and their families.
**About you**
- Recognised qualification and membership with AASW
- Experience in working within the mental health sector and public health sector
- Be willing to undergo a Background Check
