**The Location**
Based on the outskirts of Perth in a beautiful suburb this is a fantastic location. Located only 30 minutes South East of the CBD this is a growing regional centre at the heart of a bustling urban community that offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of modern day living. Boasting a modern city centre nestled amongst scenic parks, undulating hills and picturesque valleys, the City takes pride in its cultural heritage and unique community feel. The local area around the hospital is experiencing rapid growth and estimates its population will increase from 55,000 to 85,000 over the next ten years.

**The Facility**
This is 270 bed public hospital, Aged Care & Rehabilitation Service, Community Health Service and Mental Health Service all located on one site. The hospital has enjoyed some recent redevelopment including the new Emergency Department which doubled the size of the previous department to 47 patient spaces and also the construction of a new Mental Health residential facility. The Health Service also has a Mental Health Service for Older Adult, an Acute Adult Mental Health Unit and a Centre which caters for Adult Mental Health Outpatients on the campus. The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service is also located on site.

**The Role**
Although this is not a BPT position the hospital is accredited by the RACP for up to six months worth of training so part of your time here can ultimately be counted towards your specialist training.
