Head Barista

Sacca’s Fine foods are expanding, and we are on the look out for a highly motivated and experienced Head Barista.

Sacca’s is a fast growing family business and is well known for our fresh produce and great service to the community. We are expanding our business in a full service Café/Restaurant with a full service menu, expresso bar, fresh cakes and donuts. We will even be making our own Gelati

Qualifications & experience
- Minimum of 2+years experience working with specialty coffee, in fast paced, service oriented and quality focused venue/s;
- Have a passion for Coffee and an understanding of the processes behind great espresso & its equipment maintenance;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with customers, suppliers and the willingness to train and support other Barista's;
- The ability to work well under pressure with consistent results in flavour and presentation;
- A strong work ethic and a positive 'can do' attitude.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Ensure coffee preparation and quality is of the highest standard & consistent within the Café;
- Undertake duties effectively and efficiently, maintaining a well resourced, clean and organised drinks station during and after service, even when working at pace;
- Train and support staff working in the Barista role or assist in the training and development of new staff;
- Carry out general hospitality duties, including serving of customers and other tasks related to café operations;
- Maintain a relationship with our Coffee supplier representatives to ensure we follow Mock Orange's coffee recipe & equipment maintenance schedule;
- Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the amazing Mock Orange team and to always lead by example; and
- Make safety a priority and ensure hygiene is maintained and work in accordance with Workplace health and safety regulations.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
