**About the Opportunity**
The logistics team is seeking an experienced and pro-active 3PL Inventory Controller who is ready to join the team based in Scoresby.
Reporting to the 3PL Distribution Manager, you will be accountable for the inventory management and reconciliation of products into and out of the 3PL warehouses. Specifically, the 3PL inventory controller is required to manage the finished product stock controls, reconciling between WMS and SAP on a daily basis to ensure inventory integrity whilst minimising financial loss to the company through stock dumps and poor inventory management.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Daily reconciliation of stock and stock levels to meet customer orders and reduce write offs
- Ensure that all inward and outward stock has paperwork with correct approvals
- Inform sending plant of any issues and raise correct paperwork to rectify
- Liaise with planning department to ensure stock levels are adequate to cover sales requirements and minimise stock dumps
- Carry out inventory control, stock balances and reconciliation on finished goods daily via SAP
- Provide a service to other departments requiring stock information/valuation
- Provide daily, weekly, period end reports as requested by the management team
- Regularly reviews and reporting of fast/slow moving products and generate reports to highlight areas of concern
- Implement new process and paperwork as required for the improvement of inventory management
- Assist in the training of new staff in stock control processes and procedures
