Dietitian (Part-time)

**Position**:Dietitian

**The successful applicant will need**:

- To hold a current registration with Dietitians Association of Australia
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to build rapport with clients, co-workers and local communities
- Strong creativity, innovative and resourcefulness
- Excellent time management skills
- Driver’s license
- The ability to work independently if needed
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Work in a variety of settings including individual consultations, group presentations and workshops

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide nutrition and dietetic knowledge and skills for the delivery of safe clinical practice and professional advice to patients
- Communication with both external and internal medical and Allied Health professionals
- Health promotion
- Prevention and treatment of chronic disease
- Working with clients with chronic disease and also oncology patients.
- Working with clients with disability under the NDIS
- Working with DVA clients
- Working with Indigenous health clients
- Working with athletes and sporting teams.
- Deliver education seminars to organisations, sporting teams and schools both primary and high

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Subcontract

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
