- Strong time management skills
- Ability to be agile and work under pressure and maintain a high quality of work
- Mechanically minded
- Numerical and PC skills
- Forklift license (desirable)

**About the Role**

You will report into the Production Manager and directly supervise up to 30 employees. Other responsibilities of the role include;
- All safety-related activity on site including championing safe work practices, performing risk assessments, identifying, reporting and correcting any safety-related issues
- Ensure the site achieves budgeted production levels at budgeted costs.
- Achieve a more constant turnaround of retread product. Work with and develop associates to achieve plant objectives.
- Quality checks as per company standards
- Provide leadership to all associates within the plant
- Reduce waste to achieve cost reduction
- Work closely with Production Manager for smooth running of the production plant
- Cost control and continuous improvement
