What will your day look like?
**As an Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to**:
Assist the Relationship Manager in running a portfolio of agricultural customers.
Your role will include helping with deal origination, credit submissions, loan documentation, fulfilment, execution, and post deal maintenance.
Manage compliance, KYC, annual reporting & reviews, transaction banking, asset finance and day to day customer queries.
Enjoy proactively developing and maintaining an understanding of customer business and financial needs.
Collaborate with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customers’ needs, engaging specialist teams when required.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Relevant banking experience and tertiary qualification preferably in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Economics
Experience in customer management and following processes and procedures
Ability to collaborate effectively, identify key business drivers, mitigate key risks, and make recommendations where appropriate.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of the structuring of security arrangements.
Sound credit skills with the ability to present a well-motivated risk assessment and business proposition.
Background in developing a network of connections both within the Bank and external to the Bank.
