Building Surveyor

The diverse and challenging role will provide you with an opportunity to work in a mix of high rise urban, greenfield residential and rural situations.

The successful applicant will have:

- A Degree, Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Building, Engineering, Construction field or equivalent with a minimum A4 Accreditation under NSW BPB Accreditation Scheme (Building Inspector under Building Development Certifiers Regulations (Council provides funding for annual renewal of accreditation and continuing professional development for this position);
- Experience in assessing and determining Construction Certificates, Occupation Certificates, Complying Development Certificates and Building Certificates for all classes of buildings in accordance with relevant Acts and Regulations;
- Demonstrated experience in carrying out critical stage inspections for all classes of buildings; and
- A working knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, Local Government Act 1993, Building Code of Australia, and other related legislation.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant. This position comes with a leaseback vehicle or allowance..
