**Protech power Pty Ltd** is looking for an outgoing and highly organised Bookkeeper.

The Bookkeeper will perform an essential role within the business acting as liaison between the accountant and company management. You will be responsible for the management of accounts administration for the company. You will be supporting a growing business. We need someone with a can-do attitude and willing to go above and beyond when needed

To be successful, you must be able to resolve problematic situations efficiently, be an excellent communicator and have superior organisational skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Account payable and customer invoicing using excel and Xero
- Maintaining and reconciling company bank accounts and credit cards
- Update and maintain the general ledger
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Management reporting / month end accounting
- Generation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports; including reconciliation of accounts and any follow-up of any discrepancies
- Reconciliation of all GST Accounts
- Preparation of BAS information and completion of BAS forms

**Role Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge and experience using Xero
- Certificate IV in bookkeeping or equivalent an advantage
- Payroll and BAS experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
- Forward-thinking experience in general accounting and administration support.
- Excellent eye for detail and dedication to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to explain ideas to a variety of colleagues.
- Able to work independently and as part of a broader administrative support function
- Flexible and adaptable
- Self-motivated, proactive and organised with excellent time management skills
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
