The Intake Officer has a key role in providing clients, caregivers and other stakeholders with information about mecwa
_care_ services. This role is responsible for the setting up of new services, scheduling of client assessments and responding promptly to all enquiries and new referrals. The Intake Officer will ensure a responsive and proactive intake experience for prospective clients, their families and referring agencies to provide excellent customer service to continue to grow mecwa
_care’s_ client base. This also includes the promotion of mecwa
_care_ services. This is a 3-year contract with opportunity for extension.

**What you**
**bring**:

- Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Microsoft suite of programs and database programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Previous experience working in the My Aged Care (MAC) portal.
- Carelink+ experience/knowledge.
- Knowledge of and experience in a range of funded programs e.g., HACCPYP, NDIS, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) etc.
- Sound knowledge of community service principles and processes.
