Warwick Farm, Australia S.A.F.E. Logistics Operations Full time

An Australia-wide, family owned and operated, fragile freight transport company is looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Storeperson to join their Sydney team. This role will be reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader and NSW State Manager, and once fully trained you will be operating independently, picking orders for both customer collects and internal transport as well as assisting in receiving goods, unloading containers/semi trailers, and maintaining general warehouse operations. This position will include both some basic clerical work and a large portion of hands-on/forklift work to assist our young and spirited team in the day to day operations.

**DETAILS**

- Hands-on work with Inbound/Outbound goods, Container unloads.
- Order picking/printing
- Stock management, maintain clean and tidy warehouse
- Casual for Immediate start 29.25/hr (~40hrs/wk) with a view to Full time after probation
- Assist in general housekeeping and work with the greater logistics team
- Typical Hours 8am-4pm Monday-Friday, some overtime on offer.

 

**REQUIREMENTS**

** **
- Forklift Ticket a must have
- Basic level of Computer Literacy
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Previous experience in fragile freight or furniture warehousing &/or logistics highly regarded
- EWP ticket Highly Regarded

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent

**Salary**: $29.25 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
