We have **casual Assistants in Nursing **opportunities on **24/7** rotating rosters based in **North Ryde**.

**The Day to Day**
- Provide personal care activities in accordance with residents plans of care and New Horizons policies and procedures
- Observes and reports changes in residents’ condition
- Provide support to maximise well-being and independence
- Ensure residents rights, confidentiality and privacy, are maintained in accordance with the ‘Charter of Residents Rights’
- Dispense medication as required

**Skills, Experience and Values**:

- Certificate III in Aged Care and/or previous experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Customer service orientation;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Equipment Requirements and Employment Check Criteria**:

- Australian Federal Police Check from the last 24 months
- Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
- COVID 19 Vaccination in line with Health Orders
