We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Grounds Person, General Hand to join our team. This role will carry out general household/ commercial garden and lawn maintenance work for our clients across the Newcastle region.
**A day in the life of a Grounds Person...**
- All aspects of gardening, lawn care and grounds maintenance.
- Provide support to the Team Leader to build positive team relationships that reflect the Aruma values.
- Provide support to our supported employees to develop new skills and achieve their employment goals.
- Complete tasks in alignment with instructions from Team Leaders.

**About you**
- A high level of physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental requirements of the position
- Ability to work independently and/ or collaboratively as a team member
- Sound verbal and written communication and ability to assess when to escalate issues
- Ability to use technical skills to solve maintenance and site issues
- Hold a valid driver's licence
- Must be confident in towing a trailer
- Be willing to undergo a Police Check
- Hold a current NDIS Check or be willing to obtain
